Spent the last 2 days at Corral Drive In RV Park in Guymon, OK. Very nice park; the town was a bit dismal but we were able to do some housekeeping (laundry, truck washing, etc.).
Today we arrived in Colorado, Trinidad Lake State Park. Our site has views of the lake and we love this park.
The ranger on duty, suggested a drive through Cordova Pass, elevation 11,248 ft. It is a 35 mile dirt mountain pass. After we unhitched the Airstream we took that advice and headed up Route 12 to the Pass. We tested the Tundra and it made the grade (except we had the windows open and now the truck is a dust bowl)! Our wild animal sightings consisted of several gaggles of turkeys, mountain cows (?) and deer. We ended the day with pizza from Bomb Pizza in Trinidad and a stunning sunset.
PS. Tuesday and Wednesday temps down to 30’s and 20’s with snow!

Wow, looks beautiful! Sounds like time to get the long underwear out. Stay warm and enjoy the cold weather after all the heat.
