THIS WEEKThis week we traveled to the east side of the Kenai Peninsula, with an overnight stop in Moose Pass, then on to Seward where we explored Kenai Fjords National Park.SEWARDSeward is a port city along the beautiful coast of Resurrection Bay. We had a campsite overlooking the bay and mountains! We enjoyed walking along the waterfront seeing eagles, especially this one being chased by seagulls, and watching salmon in the streams.Getting around Seward is very easy. Today we celebrate 3 years on the road! We left Richmond during the pandemic thinking we would travel around for about a year and here we are….3 years later and we are in Alaska! In this week’s video, we are in Kenai, Alaska and embark on a stunning tour to Big Lake across the Cook Inlet on a tour with Talon Air Service! After a 20 minute flight we land on the water where our fishing guide meets us and we head out for wildlife viewing and sockeye salmon fishing….What an adventure.
