Valdez: Little Switzerland of Alaska!

In this video we explore Valdez Alaska; Switzerland of Alaska! We watched the bears feed on salmon and toured the Solomon Gulch Hatchery, the largest single-species hatchery in North America! We also went on a wildlife/glacier tour on the Lu-Lu Belle to Columbia Glacier with sightings of whale, mountain goats, puffin and sea lions. At Columbia Glacier we piloted through an iceberg field to get up close to the glacier. Our next adventure: an epic canoe tour with Alaska-Guide Co. on a glacial lake created by the Valdez Glacier. Living Legends of the Arctic! Musk Ox….

Happy Labor Day Weekend!This is a short video about a tour we took of a Musk Ox Farm in Palmer, AK.  The Musk Ox is a fascinating animal that is native to the Arctic regions. It is known for its unique appearance and impressive adaptations to survive in harsh, cold environments. Musk Oxen have a thick, shaggy coat that helps them stay warm in freezing temperatures.
