Palm Canyon Trail
Milestone: We have been on the road for 4 months!Borrego Springs is located in the center of the Anza-Borrego State Park. One of the most popular hikes is Palm Canyon. The hike takes you to the 3rd largest native palm grove in the state of California. We were fortunate to be able to experience this hike and special palm oasis. This palm grove had a devastating fire and the palm canopy was destroyed all that remained were tall black charred sticks. Christmas in Borrego Springs
Today we prepared for our Christmas. If you know Carol “Christmas is her favorite time of year”! Carol’s birthday is Christmas Day so there is double joy! We spent the Christmas Eve morning shopping at our little local store and because it was cloudy, we polished the outside of the Airstream! Every year at home, we make an enormous amount of Christmas cookies. We had to try to make them in the Airstream.
