2 Years on the Road & Sunshine Meadows Hike

Our First Grizzly & Johnston Canyon Hike!

We left Glacier National Park for a destination of Banff National Park, Alberta Canada. We completed our ArriveCAN app and were ready for the border! The border crossing was a non-event and we were so glad, having heard stories of being detained for searches.We drove through a section of Canada that seemed to be a high plateau area, no mountains in site. Glacier National Park!

We spent two weeks in Glacier National Park. The first week we stayed in Hungry Horse just outside of the west entrance of the park. One of the main attractions of Glacier is “Going to the Sun” Road. Going to the Sun Road goes from the Apgar West entrance to the St. Mary East entrance. 1000 Miles from Durango to Glacier National Park

We left Durango with a destination of Glacier National Park…1000 miles! We stopped in Helper, UT and stayed at Castle Gate RV Park. The town was as cute as it could be with antique cars and to our surprise it is an art community! We sure enjoyed this little laid back town in rural Utah.Our next stop was Heber City, UT.
