Bryce Canyon Hike

Bryce Canyon National Park never disappoints!  Five years ago we visited Bryce and experienced the Canyon via horseback.  This visit, we experienced the canyon on foot; WOW!  Walking in the canyon among the hoodoos and colors is simply spectacular.

The featured picture is near the end of the hike on the Navajo Loop and from the bottom looking up it was a CRAZY sight and a CRAZY climb!  Every turn in this canyon is like a fantasy land with tunnels, tight walls, beautiful shapes. The Queen’s Garden trail begins at the rim and descends about 320’ to the famous Queen Victoria hoodoo.  From there we met up with the Navajo Loop Trail that continued to drop another 300’ into the canyon.  The trial had many different landscapes, starting in hoodoos of deep orange and then passing through a pine forest.  Some of the sights include “Two Bridges” and “Thor’s Hammer”.   (See Photo Gallery for Bryce Canyon and click on picture to enlarge!)
