Today we departed Las Vegas after being there since Sunday Afternoon. We stayed west of Las Vegas at Red Rock Canyon. Our visit to Las Vegas was not for gambling, shows or all night parties! We had an appointment Monday at Airstream of Las Vegas to have some warranty work done; failing water pump, a broken deadbolt door lock and a routine tire rotation. We were very impressed with this Airstream dealer, all issues were done in one day as promised! Tuesday we had an appointment with Dave Wilson Toyota to have 20K service done on the Tundra; again a successful visit! Wednesday I had an appointment with Nevada Orthopeadic Clinic…I have had hip pain for about 2 weeks….turned out to be a bout of bursitis and is much better today after a cortisone injection. Between appointments, we were able to visit the beautiful Red Rock Canyon. There is a 13 mile drive through the canyon and we were able to fly the drone.
Today we departed Las Vegas for Kanab, UT.
We are staying in Pipe Springs, AZ at Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians Campground. Very nice for a desert campground. We visited Pipe Spring National Monument today.
We will be in this area for until Monday exploring the canyons of the Kanab area.

Loving all this! Hey when you are in Kanab see if you can get a tour of the Best Friends Animal Rescue sanctuary! It’s huge and beautiful and amazing! We were so impressed. It’s in its own canyon! Lots of cute Western Victorian houses in Kanab too, Keep on truckin’ y’all! 🤟🏽💜 ann
