We left Lake Powell and headed to Homolovi State Park east of Flagstaff. Homolovi is located just outside of Winslow AZ. Now most of you reading this (excluding a couple of Millenials 🤣) know the significance of Winslow AZ from your youth! (Reply below if you know the answer!) The town of Winslow is a bit dismal, it used to be a stop along Route 66 and vibrant, but today the best thing in town is the Flying J truck stop!
I had a toothache last week that turned into a major ordeal. Long story short, root canal! My Richmond Dentist worked with endodontist in Flagstaff and the entire situation was taken care of last Thursday! Very fortunate.
Then on Friday we took a quick run to Phoenix to pick up new iPhones! That was a fun day trip and we love the new phones!
Saturday we left the Homolovi State Park and headed to Sedona, AZ. While driving we saw signs to Meteor Crater National Monument and decided to check it out. Well, it was interesting but a total tourist trap and it had the potential to be “Coronaville”! We looked and got the hell out of there! https://meteorcrater.com
We are moving to a new location tomorrow and are staying in this area until 11/9. Taking the Verde Canyon Train on Thursday…hope to get some good photos!

Ahh, root canals, just had one in early September . . . what a perfect event for 2020! You guys picked a great time of the year to be in this region – so glad you’re enjoying yourselves. Sedona will be beautiful, can’t wait to see the pics and your art!

As usual, living vicariously through my clients. While in Winslow get off the corner and check out the La Posada Hotel. Magnificent. Very famous. Great place for a drink on a lazy afternoon. If you get to Chinle, take a stroll into Canyon de Chelly too. Excited to finally be connected to you guys and your trip.
