The Escalante area is amazing with forests, deserts, slot canyons and incredible rock formations. We visited Devil’s Garden and were we surprised at the beauty. I just noticed that many cool areas have the word “Devil” in their names. Oh well, if the devil was here he left it in perfect condition! 😉
We spent several hours here among the hoodoos and finally were able to fly the drone. Just like everything else, some abusers of drones have done dumb things and now there are so many restricted areas fun drone spots are hard to find. 🤬
We are working on our personal cinematic careers and trying to incorporate more of “US”….Good or Bad?
Travel update: We left Escalante on last Sunday to experience Dark Sky Campground in Kanab (no dark sky this trip, we had a full moon)! Also in Kanab we had a special activity planned to kayak from Horseshoe Bend to Lee’s Ferry. More to come on that and it will be an exciting video! Today we return to Escalante and will be staying 2 weeks at Yonder Escalante (review of Yonder soon!).
