We spent the day in Bryce Canyon riding eBikes, hiking and spent the evening at the Rodeo!
We rented eBikes from “Outta Here eBikes located on Route 12 about a mile from Bryce. The rental process was easy and off we went! The bikes were Rad Power eBikes. They were “pedal assist” with 4 levels of assistance. They were remarkably easy to ride and most of all FUN! We rode through Red Canyon on the paved bike route. A beautiful area. We had rented the bikes for 8 hours but the seats were truly the hardest bike seats I have ever sat on. We could only stand 4 hours…LOL
Our next stop was Mossy Cave, a very popular short hike about 5 miles from Bryce. We took the trail that went above but never found the cave…the waterfall was so nice to see since we have been in exploring the desert for 2 months! This was a very pleasant walk.
Our last stop was the Bryce Canyon Rodeo. Given this was our first time at a rodeo we really had very little knowledge about what we would be seeing. To our surprise there were bronco riding, bull riding, cow riding (youth event), sheep riding (for the little kids), barrel racing (one little girl walked the course, there was no racing! So Cute!) and lassoing cattle.
We had a full day of fun. eBikes are so fun…we see them in our future!
Enjoy our video and see the Gallery for pictures!
Ha, I think this was my favorite video so far. The bikes are so cool, I’ve seen them in Ireland and was always so curious about them! The sky—so blue and the littlest cowgirl was adorable. Great adventure!!
Thanks! What a fun day!
Those bikes look so fun! Kids on bucking sheep…never seen that before. What a great day you had.
The bikes were a blast and still got exercise! You would have laughed your head off at the sheep!
Ebikes are the way to go and I see they are so fast! I may pick up one for our use at the campground, the video was good the waterfall looked amazing, where does it originate to the falls, enjoyed this video and visit with you all

Here’s what I found on the web regarding the falls.
“The waterfall isn’t really a natural waterfall, either. It was created by the Pioneers when they dug a 10 mile canal to bring water to Bryce Valley. Both are still impressive. The trail has a wide pullout between mile marker 17 and 18 on the road between Bryce Canyon NP and Tropic.”
Thanks… we love your feedback! Keeps us motivated to post!
