The Bonneville Salt Flats
We explored the Bonneville Salt Flats and the Bonneville Speedway. Both of the above are on “salt flats” in western Utah. Here is a link to more about Bonneville Salt Flats .This is not a commercial tourist area, it is in fact all on Bureau of Land Management Public land. Access is from the rest stop on I-80 West or from Exit 4 you can enter from the Speedway entrance. The flats are about 12 miles long…it is an amazing area.
