So much to report, so little bandwidth!

We are on the move again!  So many packed days and very little bandwidth/internet to upload videos…but don’t worry, they are coming!

Just before we left Heber City Utah on Saturday we spent Friday morning fly fishing on the Provo River with our guide, Todd Kramer from Fish Heads Fly Shop!  What a morning.  We met Todd at 6am to beat the heat…after a short walk to the river the fun began.  We started hooking brown trout (Carol landed one) and then we hooked the wild rainbows!  I caught the first one and then just after Carol caught hers!  These were not easy to land, the flies we were using were tiny midges about 2mm and the fight to land them took some serious maneuvering.

Not only did we land some giant trout, we also got some expert tips and lessons.  It was a really special way to end our stay and time in Utah.

We are now in Idaho, spent one night in Twin Falls then landed in between Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks where we have parked the Airstream.  We are spending 2 nights at Jackson Lake Lodge in Grand Teton and one night at the Old Faithful Inn at Yellowstone.  So far we have seen some amazing wildlife that includes Grizzlies!

So friends, hang in there the best is yet to come!

It was so much fun catching it! Have to admit my arm was getting sore after almost 8 minutes.

Very jealous of your fishing experience. I love to fish for trout. Just gorgeous catch. Living the good life, you two.

For Sure! We can go out and see what we can do in those Colorado mountain streams. We were in Vail a few years ago and saw a guy pull a trout in right in the middle of town!
