Kimball Art Center, Watercolor Class

Today we beat the heat by attending an in person class at the Kimball Art Center in Park City, Utah.  (Park City was the venue of the 2002 Winter Olympics.) Flaming Gorge Overnight

Every now and then we find a remote area that may be best explored without the Airstream.  This week we took an overnight side trip to Flaming Gorge on the Wyoming, Utah border.  From Heber City we drove West on I-80.  Our campground was on the Southwest side of Lake Flaming Gorge.   Several Antelope meandered through the campground, amazing!  Once set up we toured and explored to find Red Canyon and Flaming Gorge Dam.  This area is known for spectacular trout fishing…we were not prepared, I left all the fly fishing equipment at the Airstream; really dumb move.
