Garden of the Gods

Our final day in Colorado we explored Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs.  Garden of the Gods Park is a registered National Natural Landmark consisting of  300′ towering sandstone rock formations against a backdrop of Pikes Peak.  The park was a gift to the city in 1909 with a stipulation that is must always be free to the public.

We strolled through park and saw the cutest deer family!  The views and rock formations are breathtakingly beautiful.

The next day we started our trek back to the East Coast.  We caravanned for two days but had to part ways in St. Louis.  We had such a fun filled month touring Colorado with Susan & Atom; memories that will never fade!

Updates:

Big news!  Our new 2022 25’ Airstream Flying Cloud arrived at Colonial Airstream last week and we pick her up Monday 11/4!  We will be leaving Richmond tomorrow and we can barely contain our excitement! Next Monday we will travel to Rehoboth Beach from NJ to spend the week.

Standby for the unveiling of the new Airstream!

Enjoy the Video!

Howdy Partner! This was the last video from our trip! I could do some mashups, maybe I will at some point. But we have a slew of new adventures coming up! See you soon!

Wow! Beautiful. And kinda wild to see a few trees at the very top of some of those rock formations! Of course I love the babies 🙂 Bet you’re excited for tomorrow!
