A day at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge!

While in Rehoboth Beach with Susan & Atom, we spent the day at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge in search of Roseate Spoonbills!  Two of these special birds had been spotted in the refuge but we could not find them!

We took several nature walks in the refuge and observed so many amazing birds, crabs and eagles.  It was so nice to be with Susan & Atom again…we had a wonderful day!

The day ended with a delicious takeout dinner from Agave in Lewes!

Yesterday we rode the eBikes over 20 miles on the bike paths around Rehoboth Beach and Lewes with Susan.  We actually rode past Joe & Jill Biden’s summer house. The bike ride was so fun! Last night we had to say goodbye again to our friends….we will miss them!

Today we got up at 5am to drive to Colonial Airstream for the lithium battery installation.  The install went well and we were back on the road to Rehoboth Beach for the night.

Tomorrow we head to Chincoteague for the weekend, then on to Richmond for a week or so before we head west.

Enjoy the video!

It was a great couple days! So enjoyed being with our pals again. Can’t believe that picture you got of the crab. They were so small and elusive. Happy Trails dear friends!!
