eBikes and Chincoteague!

On our way back to Virginia after Colonial Airstream and a short visit in Rehoboth Beach, we stopped in Chincoteague Island.  We were there two days and spent a lot of time on the eBikes.

The island is small and most all of the streets have bike lanes…Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge has miles of bike trails.  We rode between 30-35 miles over two days ; we love the Lectric eBikes.

We did see some wild Chincoteague Horses, they were visible but far away, I did not have the zoom camera to take decent pictures…but at least we saw them!

On Monday we headed back to Richmond with our new Airstream.

Enjoy the video!

Travel Update:

We will be in Richmond for another week then we will be heading south for another visit with an east coast friends.  November 1st we start our journey west with our first destination Tucson.

Brought back memories of our trip last year. Missed seeing Carol doing her “coming through” on her e-bike. I still chuckle thinking of that!!

We missed you! That was so funny when Carol buzzed through at 20mph!

I’m so envious re Chincoteague…I remember reading “Misty of Chincoteague” and have remained curious about the island. Glad you shed at least a little light on it. Where are you heading “south”…guess not as far as So. FL??
    Keep on keeping on,
    Phyllis
