Last summer while in Estes Park, Colorado, we were checking out a future campground when we saw a truck with a bike rack that we thought may work with eBikes. Carol flagged the truck and they stopped…we had a fun conversation with a couple of whom we had SO much in common! Long story short….we were invited to the Four Corners Unit Airstream Rally November 11-14 at Catalina State Park in Tucson, AZ.
We left Richmond on the 3rd and arrived in Tucson on the 11th for the rally. There were approx. 40 Airstreams of all sizes in attendance. We were greeted by the club president when we arrived and the club members were so friendly that it was easy to meet people. Each night there was a happy hour and a movie if you wanted to brave the cold evenings. The last night there was a giant grill about 10’ long where people could grill their dinners, a giant fire and a movie!
We met so many great Airstreamers and hope to attend more Four Corner Rallies! We are so thankful for meeting that special couple in Colorado; you know who you are!
Enjoy the short video of some rally highlights!
Travel Update:
We are spending the next two weeks in Arizona. The weather is so nice, 70-80 during the day and 40-50 at night. We will be visiting Sedona, Flagstaff, Jerome and hope to have a side trip to Monument Valley Navajo Park (just reopened due to covid). Thanksgiving will be spent in Phoenix with our good friend Dan from Richmond!
What a great event! I’m sure you were proud to show off your beautiful new rig. Anyone else have one like it?
Bet that was fun! Glad you could enjoy it. Carry on in that beautiful area!❤️
