Desert to Mountains, Palm Springs Aerial Tram!
Wednesday we left Borrego Springs and drove up to Palm Springs to the Palm Springs Aerial Tram. This Tramway is considered an engineering marvel featuring the world’s largest rotating tram cars! Valley station starts the adventure with the elevation of 2,643’ and your destination at Mountain station has an elevation of 8,516’. Mountain station has 2 restaurants (one self-serve) and one cocktail bar. The Mount San Jacinto State Park is just behind the tram station providing backpacking and hiking opportunities.
