5 Days in Big Sur, Monterey and Pinnacles National Park!

After Morro Rock and the wineries of Paso Robles, we headed up the coast to explore Big Sur, Monterey and Pinnacles National Park. We stayed at Yanks RV Resort in Greenfield, CA. We spent one whole day on the coast in Big Sur and the rugged oceanfront. One of our stops was at Pfeiffer Beach and the iconic “Keyhole Arch” where we were mesmerized by the beauty!

We also had a wonderful night of luxury at the Seven Gables Inn….the views from our room were amazing! Near the inn, the scenic 17 Mile Road that hugs the coast through Pebble Beach was our next adventure on the eBikes; what a stunning scenic drive!

In the opposite direction is Pinnacles National Park, known for it’s unusual caves. We spent a day hiking and Carol even crawled through the Balconies Cave!

There are so many places to go and investigate in this area, 5 days was just not enough! We will be BACK!

Travel Update:

We continue to explore California and will be here for another 3 weeks, then we head East to Nevada!  Stay tuned for more!

What a beautiful coastline! The color of the water and those waves. You got some great shots. Loved your intro too. Good thing we never saw a snake on our journeys together. We would have had to vacate the area immediately 🤣!
