Lake Powell & Lower Antelope Canyon! WOW!

This week we are in Lake Powell and we are able to compared our visit in 2016 to our visit in 2022 with regards to the water levels. Only one boat ramp is currently open at Lake Powell!  The water levels are very sad.

We then toured Lower Antelope Canyon…a spectacular sandstone slot canyon. The canyon is part of the Navajo Nation and has been closed due to Covid; we were thrilled that the canyon tours had opened again.  Our tour was with  “Ken’s Tours” started at 8:30am.  Our weather was perfect with bright blue skies and warm temperatures! The rules of the tour, no video!

This area is one of our favorites and we love the campground at Wahweap.  This is our 3rd visit with the Airstream! Our next stop Escalante, UT!

Enjoy the video!

Travel update:

We are making our way around our favorite parts of Utah and will arrive in Durango, CO for the 4th of July as an Airstream 4 Corners Rally.  The 2nd week in July we start heading North to for a short stop in Yellowstone then on to Glacier National Park.  In August we will be crossing the border into Canada and will visit the Canadian Rockies!  Stay tuned for so much more!
