This video we take you on an off road journey on the Smith Dorrien Trail also known as Highway 742 outside of Canmore, Alberta, Canada.
This rural drive is remote and has some spectacular scenery! We spent time at Spray Lake saw big horn sheep, a bear and an eagle! We had read about Mount Engadine Lodge and were determined to find it.
What a treat….If ever in this area, Mount Engadine Lodge is a remote getaway in the Canadian Rockies. We were fortunate to enjoy afternoon tea…this was a perfect day!

Travel Update:
We have returned to Montana after an adventure packed month in the Canadian Rockies! We have several weeks of Canadian adventures to share so don’t worry! We will be starting a slow roll East with stops at Devil’s Tower, Custer State Park, The Badlands and so much more! Stay tuned!
