This is our final 14th and final video of our 2023 Alaska Adventure! What a summer!
In this video we travel a lot of miles from Valdez to Haines via Wrangell-St. Elias, Destruction Bay, Haines, an epic ferry ride and Skagway before crossing the boarder into the Yukon.
We spent 2 days exploring Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and some seriously remote areas. One of our most remote boondocking sites to date!
From Tok to Destruction Bay was one of our most challenging roads with lots of construction and breaks with dusty gravel. Once we reached Destruction Bay we boondocked for 2 days at the most perfect spot overlooking Kluane Lake.
Onward to Haines, an epic drive back into Alaska from the Yukon. In Haines we enjoyed our most favorite campground of our Alaska trip…Oceanside RV Park right on the water with stunning views.
Now for the scary ferry ride from Haines to Skagway towing the Airstream! The boat loaded from the side with turns and with extremely tight maneuvers. Then we had to back out! Holy Cow, my nerves were shot! We had lunch in Skagway then headed back to the Canadian Border….
