Before we left Moab we had one last stop, the Mill Canyon Fossil and Historical Area just 15 miles north. This area on BLM land has dinosaur bones imbedded in rock that was once an ocean. It was amazing to stroll along this area.
Next we headed to Hanksville, where the AirTags come in! To be explained in the video!
Our next stop was Goblin Valley State Park. This is an amazing place with rock formations that truly resemble “goblins”!
Another unearthly area, Bentonite Hills, a place that we have wanted to find this area it a very close representation of Mars! There is even a Mars Research Center.
We then headed to Capitol Reef National Park and had a great dispersed camping site with a view that was unbelievable. What a night sky!
Next we hit the road heading to Kanab, UT! What a spectacular drive through aspen forests, red rocks and had lunch in Escalante before reaching Dark Sky in Kanab!
