A hidden gem, the stunning CSKT Bison Range…and we saw BEAR, too!

While in Montana our friend Debbie arranged a day at the Confederated Salish and Kootenay Tribes Bison Range. Glacier National Park, our epic hike on the Highline Trail to Granite Park Lodge!

Wild Horse Island, Flathead Lake, Montana!

Since returning from Canada we have been in Montana near Bigfork on the Flathead Lake.  We have been just an hour from Glacier National Park.  On one of our adventures we booked a boat to Wild Horse Island on the West side of the lake.  We had high hopes of seeing the horses…but we never found them!  We were lucky to see other wildlife, osprey, Lewis’s Woodpecker, deer and eagles (although we were not quick on the draw to capture them).It was a fun day and loved the boat ride on this amazing lake.Below is the link to the Wild…
