Getting ready for the next 6 months was more than we expected. The Airstream had to have every bit of food removed plus we wanted it to be “spic & span” clean. But, it got done…the Airstream and Truck are in a secure locked storage area in their own locked garage.
Next we drove to Dallas and boarded a plane to Madrid…it’s real now!
The flight was uneventful and we arrived on time. Passport control and customs was a breeze. We took a cab to our hotel and we were amazed how beautiful Madrid was….so clean and vibrant.
The very next day we did an 11 hour tour to Toledo and Segovia….
