In this week’s video, we are in Kenai, Alaska and embark on a stunning tour to Big Lake across the Cook Inlet on a tour with Talon Air Service! After a 20 minute flight we land on the water where our fishing guide meets us and we head out for wildlife viewing and sockeye salmon fishing….What an adventure. Denali National Park: Hike, Bus and Plane for a Spectacular Adventure!

In this video we explore Denali National Park! We spent 4 days at Riley Campground inside the park, hiked the Savage River Trail, took a park tour of the fascinating dog sled rangers and went on a 5 hour Narrated Tundra Wilderness Tour with the park. We are officially in the 30% club of people that have seen the peak of Denali (formally known as Mt. McKinley). Denali’s highest peak is at 20,310’ and is in the clouds most of the time! We then moved on to the town of charming Talkeetna where most of the Denali “climbers” start their trek.…

The quaint town of Chicken and Explore the Best of Fairbanks, AK!

This week we are excited to be in ALASKA where we start our adventures in Chicken before we move on to Fairbanks.CHICKEN, AKAccessed by the rugged yet beautiful Taylor Highway is the tiny town of Chicken.  The town has a population of 12, with two cafes, a gas station, two RV parks, a gift shop, and a lively saloon.Since it was early and we were the only ones in the saloon, we dared each other to try pole dancing!  Not a skill of ours!Many travelers have left their mark in this saloon, so did we! Back at camp we enjoyed time…
