Last year while spending the winter in Borrego Springs, CA we heard about a special area call “The Pumpkin Patch”. This area is deep in the Ocotillo Wells off-road recreation area. We set out this past week thinking this would be a short 4x4 drive in the desert. Once in the 4x4 area we had to drive miles and miles through areas of deep sand and extreme bumps! Wow!! 16 Months on the Road!!Here it is, as promised, the recap of our adventures of 16 months on the road. The process of making this video has been so eye opening…to relive all of the incredible places we have been. It is an understatement to say we are thankful, our gratitude reaches way beyond thankful. Happy New Year from Borrego Springs, CA! We are back at our “home away from home”, Borrego Springs, CA. We are about 1.5 hours from Palm Springs in one direction and San Diego in the other. Over the past 2 weeks we have had very unusual weather for this desert area with bouts of wind, some rain and some clouds. The Sierra Mountains received over 17 feet of snow! Merry Christmas to All! We are enjoying Christmas in Borrego Springs, CA! We made a short video of the Elves escapades for 2021!
