Our first week on Vancouver Island was filled with exciting adventures! We walked the city of Victoria and had a great time! Next we met Gary and Michelle (friends from Borrego Springs) for a fun packed weekend on their boat. We cruised to Tod Inlet and visited Butchart Gardens. In this video we explore some of our favorite places in Bend, Oregon and explore the Painted Hills. Bend has a very youthful vibe and is the gateway to all types of outdoor activities for all seasons. There is a vibrant downtown with the Deschutes River running through the city. There is also the Old Mill District with trendy shops and restaurants. Our travels move to North Central Oregon to Bend, OR…where we spent a day at Smith Rock State Park. This stunning state park has numerous hiking trails for all skill levels and the park is known for its superb rock climbing with over 1800 climbing routes!
