Metal Sculptures of Borrego Springs
Soon after we arrived in Borrego Springs we heard about the “sculptures”. There are well over 100 life size or larger metal sculptures throughout the desert surrounding the town. We felt like we were on safari, hunting every one of them! Palm Canyon Trail
Milestone: We have been on the road for 4 months!Borrego Springs is located in the center of the Anza-Borrego State Park. One of the most popular hikes is Palm Canyon. The hike takes you to the 3rd largest native palm grove in the state of California. We were fortunate to be able to experience this hike and special palm oasis. This palm grove had a devastating fire and the palm canopy was destroyed all that remained were tall black charred sticks.
