This week we hooked up the Airstream for a 3 day trip to Key West. Once we got past Miami traffic we could relax and take in the views of the 100 miles of the Overseas highway from Key Largo to Key West. We stayed at the KOA on Sugarloaf Key.Before heading into Key West we rode our bikes on the Old Seven Mile Bridge which reopened to walkers, cyclists and trams in January of 2022. The release of Rocky the Loggerhead Sea Turtle!

This week we are sharing the release of a 220-pound loggerhead sea turtle from the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach …. What an exciting moment!Like all sea turtle species, loggerhead turtles face many threats that impact their population.  For over three decades, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center has been committed to the rehabilitation of sick and injured sea turtles. Two Days at Kennedy Space Center!

We spent 2 days exploring the Kennedy Space Center.
