This week we are revealing our main 2023 travel adventures and we are taking you on an Everglades Swamp Tour!Our swamp tour was an 1 1/2 hour airboat tour in the Everglades…so fun, with sightings of so many alligators, tropical birds and so much more. This week we take you to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta! We thought we would present this for anyone that is considering attending this stunning event. The Fiesta takes place each year the first week of October in Albuquerque, New Mexico and lasts 9 days! Started in 1972 with just 13 balloons, the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta has grown to be the largest balloon festival in the world. Do your planning early, the hotels, camping and rental cars book up fast. This is an awesome event, one that should be on your bucket list when in the New Mexico area!…

We left Custer State Park and headed to Badlands National Park! Wall DrugThis is a “fun” place to visit…everything from country western clothing to novelty items, food and an actual drug store! It has been here since 1936!Badlands National ParkThe Badlands are an amazing national park with 240,000 acres of sharply eroded buttes, pinnacles and spires surrounded by prairie lands. The wind was so fierce we could not enjoy the park for a couple days. Fun Fact: Badlands is one of the world’s richest mammal fossil beds where Acient horses and rhino once roamed.
