*This video was filmed in mid-August. After two weeks in Banff, we moved to our next destination in the Canadian Rockies, Lake Louise. The drive from Banff was stunning, with sweeping views of the bow river and glacial mountains. We spent a week in Lake Louise at Lake Louise Hard Sided Campground in Banff National Park. During our stay we explored Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Takakkaw Falls (in Yoho National Park) and Natural Bridge. We also continued to enjoy the wildlife of the area! Enjoy the video! More Canadian Rockies! Banff!

* This video was filmed in mid-August While in the Canadian Rockies our first stop in Banff was Tunnel Mountain Campground. In this video we give you a tour of our sights in and near Banff. We show you the town, farmers market, the bow river/falls and several lakes! Also the town is home to the Banff Springs Fairmont Hotel, a really special place. August 22nd was our 2 year anniversary! Yes, 2 years on the road…we can’t believe it! Today’s video we take the Banff Sunshine Gondola to hike Sunshine Meadows and see 3 alpine lakes! This was one of our favorite hikes with the views and mountain flowers. Our First Grizzly & Johnston Canyon Hike!

We left Glacier National Park for a destination of Banff National Park, Alberta Canada. We completed our ArriveCAN app and were ready for the border! The border crossing was a non-event and we were so glad, having heard stories of being detained for searches.We drove through a section of Canada that seemed to be a high plateau area, no mountains in site. Once we got onto Route 1 we could start to see the Canadian Rockies in the distance. What a site.
