We left Europe behind, after 3 months and 11 countries! We took the Eurostar train from Brussels to London. This was our 3rd visit to London and again excited to be there. Our adventure started in Coal Drops Yard checking out the cool shops and found a very special dinner! Next day, the hop on, hop off bus tour and then a stop in Harrods for a memorable lunch. In this video we leave The Netherlands and travel via train to Belgium! Episode 16 – We are in Belgium!After taking the train with stops in Rotterdam and Antwerp we landed in Ghent. This historic town blew us away! Canals, Castles and don’t forget, Belgium Waffles! We have left Scandinavia and headed to the Netherlands! After a 12 hours and 4 train changes we found that there was a 24 hour train strike in all of the Netherlands….we ended up in Düsseldorf, Germany overnight in a hotel without AC! But bright and early the next day all trains were running to Amsterdam and the entire country! Our first stop was Haarlem just a short 15 min. train ride from Amsterdam. Our Airbnb was exceptional and the town was charming. We visited Zaanse Schans with historic windmills from the 1600’s! We also took a canal tour around…
