In this video we explore some of our favorite places in Bend, Oregon and explore the Painted Hills. Bend has a very youthful vibe and is the gateway to all types of outdoor activities for all seasons. There is a vibrant downtown with the Deschutes River running through the city. There is also the Old Mill District with trendy shops and restaurants. Our travels move to North Central Oregon to Bend, OR…where we spent a day at Smith Rock State Park. This stunning state park has numerous hiking trails for all skill levels and the park is known for its superb rock climbing with over 1800 climbing routes! We spent a week in Jordan Valley, Oregon and visited some amazing places, including last week’s video showing Leslie Gulch; this week we take you to Jordan Craters, Big Loop Rodeo and we even saw the Northern Lights!We spent a week in this remote part southeastern area of Oregon and really enjoyed our stay.
