Three Days, 15 Moose!

We are now in Grand Lake, Colorado, on the western side of Rocky Mountain National Park.  When we arrived, we were saddened by the devastation from the fires last fall.  (More on the devastating fires later.)  Our first thought was that the wildlife may be gone…..but we were very wrong.  In just 3 days we have seen over 15 Moose!  I say “over” because we saw a few before we started counting and we have also seen Moose but unable to capture by camera. Wind Caves and Updates

The Wind Caves are in the Carrizo Badlands on the far east side of the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.  To access this area you travel on Fish Creek Road, a sand/rock passage about 4 miles. Las Vegas Chores

Our visit to Las Vegas was not for gambling, shows or all night parties!  We had an appointment Monday at Airstream of Las Vegas to have some warranty work done; failing water pump, a broken deadbolt door lock and a routine tire rotation.  We were very impressed with this Airstream dealer, all issues were done in one day as promised! Tuesday we had an appointment with Dave Wilson Toyota to have 20K service done on the Tundra; again a…
