Bighorn Sheep Encounter While Biking in Borrego Springs, CA!

One of the special features of Borrego Springs, CA are the big horn sheep!  Many times hiking in the desert you can see some of these elusive beautiful animals.  In Spanish Borrego translates to Sheep!  Today, while on a bike ride we found these amazing sheep on a hillside blending perfectly into their surroundings….we can’t believe that Carol spotted them while riding bikes!  These were the first big horns that we have seen this year!ENJOY the Video!Travel Update:Today marks our one month mark!  We only have one month before we depart Borrego Springs!  We have a very exciting summer coming up!…

An eBike Tour of Borrego Springs, CA!

Wow…What fun we have had making this video!  For a couple days we set out on our eBikes to shoot this!  As you can imagine there were lots of BLOOPERS!  Our goal is to start telling about our adventures as well as capturing them on camera.  Borrego Springs is like the TV Show “Cheers”, everybody knows your name and your always glad you came!  The postal worker knows us by name and remembered us from last winter as well as the people at the grocery store! We can ride our bikes to town (only about a mile from our campground).…

eBikes and Chincoteague!

On our way back to Virginia after Colonial Airstream and a short visit in Rehoboth Beach, we stopped in Chincoteague Island.  We were there two days and spent a lot of time on the eBikes.   The island is small and most all of the streets have bike lanes…Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge has miles of bike trails.  We rode between 30-35 miles over two days ; we love the Lectric eBikes.   We did see some wild Chincoteague Horses, they were visible but far away, I did not have the zoom camera to take decent pictures…but at least we saw…
