Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, previously known as Villa Vizcaya, is one of the top destinations in Miami. This villa was built from 1914 to 1922 and was originally the winter home of James Deering, of Deering Harvester Company, and later International Harvester.Vizcaya is located on the shores of Biscayne Bay and is surrounded by native forests in Coconut Grove. Two Days at Kennedy Space Center!

We spent 2 days exploring the Kennedy Space Center. Ft. Lauderdale: Bonnet House Museum & Gardens

While visiting friends in Ft. Lauderdale we toured Bonnet House Museum & Gardens and visited Pompano Beach/Pier.The Bonnet House Museum & Gardens was the home of Frederic Clay & Evelyn Bartlett. Built in the 1920’s, today the Bonnet House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.In 1983 Evelyn Bartlett deeded the property to the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation.
