August 22nd was our 2 year anniversary!  Yes, 2 years on the road…we can’t believe it!  Today’s video we take the Banff Sunshine Gondola to hike Sunshine Meadows and see 3 alpine lakes!  This was one of our favorite hikes with the views and mountain flowers.  Next week, more of the Canadian Rockies!Enjoy the video!Travel Update:In another week we will be traveling South and our month in the Canadian Rockies will come to an end…but don’t despair…we have lots of adventures left to share from Canada!PS.  In the video the comment, “Subscribe and thumbs up” is for the people watching…

Glacier National Park!

We spent two weeks in Glacier National Park. The first week we stayed in Hungry Horse just outside of the west entrance of the park. One of the main attractions of Glacier is “Going to the Sun” Road. Going to the Sun Road goes from the Apgar West entrance to the St. Mary East entrance. Ouray, Colorado Jeep Tour! Wow!

This week we treated ourselves to a cabin in Ouray, Colorado and a private Jeep Tour with Alpine Scenic 4x4 Tours. Our guide’s name was Sam and we asked that he take us to as many scenic places as he could for our 6 hour tour. We were so excited and had been looking forward to this adventure for a few weeks! 4 Stops in Southeastern Utah!

When we left Moab we started our trek to Durango Colorado! We made several stops along the way:1. Valley of the Gods - a 17 mile loop near Mexican Hat, Utah.  A beautiful ride through vibrant red rock!2. Gooseneck State Park - towers 100’ above the San Juan River.  The river meanders through 6 miles of curves but only travels about 1.5 miles closer to Lake Powell!3.
