More Canadian Rockies! Banff!

* This video was filmed in mid-August While in the Canadian Rockies our first stop in Banff was Tunnel Mountain Campground. In this video we give you a tour of our sights in and near Banff. We show you the town, farmers market, the bow river/falls and several lakes! Also the town is home to the Banff Springs Fairmont Hotel, a really special place. This video we take you on an off road journey on the Smith Dorrien Trail also known as Highway 742 outside of Canmore, Alberta, Canada.This rural drive is remote and has some spectacular scenery! We spent time at Spray Lake saw big horn sheep, a bear and an eagle! We had read about Mount Engadine Lodge and were determined to find it.What a treat….If ever in this area, Mount Engadine Lodge is a remote getaway in the Canadian Rockies. August 22nd was our 2 year anniversary! Yes, 2 years on the road…we can’t believe it! Today’s video we take the Banff Sunshine Gondola to hike Sunshine Meadows and see 3 alpine lakes! This was one of our favorite hikes with the views and mountain flowers. Glacier National Park!

We spent two weeks in Glacier National Park. The first week we stayed in Hungry Horse just outside of the west entrance of the park. One of the main attractions of Glacier is “Going to the Sun” Road. Going to the Sun Road goes from the Apgar West entrance to the St. Mary East entrance.
