Three Days in San Deigo!

We left Temecula and headed South about an hour to San Deigo. Some of the advertised “must sees” were bypassed so we could cover more areas.Our first stop was Coronado Island. We had intentions of riding the eBikes but the weather just didn’t cooperate! The island provided excellent views of the San Deigo skyline and we enjoyed exploring on foot.Our next stop was La Jolla, just north of the downtown area. This community is one of the prettiest coastal towns I have been to. The oceanfront is beautiful with tons of marine life. We also enjoyed the best tacos ever…

This past week we ventured out to Fonts Point, just about 8 miles from Borrego Springs. Last year we started up the sand wash to the Fonts Point but turned around, worried that we would get stuck in the deep sand. Well….this year we had no fear! The four mile sand wash no longer worried us as we now are so much more confident in our 4x4 skills!
