Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Train

So much fun…not enough time!We spent the day on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Train!  The ride was so beautiful…the train went through the San Juan Mountains.  The track ran along the Animas River and in many areas we were right on the edge of a rock cliff over the water,Once in Silverton we booked it to Thee Pitt’s Again, BBQ!  This restaurant was on “Diners and Drive-ins”.  The best onion rings in the world!  (The BBQ was good too!)  Silverton was very busy, it was biker weekend and Labor Day weekend.  The rumble of motorcycles was everywhere!  Once…

Today, we are exploring…
