Denali National Park: Hike, Bus and Plane for a Spectacular Adventure!

In this video we explore Denali National Park! We spent 4 days at Riley Campground inside the park, hiked the Savage River Trail, took a park tour of the fascinating dog sled rangers and went on a 5 hour Narrated Tundra Wilderness Tour with the park. We are officially in the 30% club of people that have seen the peak of Denali (formally known as Mt. McKinley). Denali’s highest peak is at 20,310’ and is in the clouds most of the time! We then moved on to the town of charming Talkeetna where most of the Denali “climbers” start their trek.…

Our exciting 10 Days roadtripping across the Yukon to Alaska!

In this video we show you our journey across the Yukon Territory from Watson Lake to the Alaska Border! Our first stop the unique Sign Post Forest in Watson Lake along the Alaska Highway. This forest is made up of signs from travelers for over 80 years and now has over 100.000 individual signs! We hung our sign and also found two of our favorite creators…KYD and The Adventures of A&K! Next, along the Alaska Highway we head to the capital of the Yukon, Whitehorse with a side trip to Emerald Lake and Carcross Desert….Yikes a desert in the Yukon?…

The Stunning Alaska Highway! Dawson Creek to Liard Hot Springs!

This week we start our journey on the Alaska Highway through British Columbia as we travel from Dawson Creek to Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park. First Stop, Dawson Creek and the N.R.A. Station Museum at the Visitor Center, where we learned a lot about the AlCan highway. The Alaska highway, also known as the AlCan Highway, was built in response to Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor Dec. 7, 1941. In 1942, the US entered into World War II and a supply and defense route to Alaska was critical. Canada agreed to building the Alaska-Canada highway on the condition that…
