Two Days at Kennedy Space Center!

We spent 2 days exploring the Kennedy Space Center. Ft. Lauderdale: Bonnet House Museum & Gardens

While visiting friends in Ft. Lauderdale we toured Bonnet House Museum & Gardens and visited Pompano Beach/Pier.The Bonnet House Museum & Gardens was the home of Frederic Clay & Evelyn Bartlett. Built in the 1920’s, today the Bonnet House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.In 1983 Evelyn Bartlett deeded the property to the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation. 2022 Recap of SilverVagabonds!

24 Hours in Savannah GA!

We left the Airstream behind and headed to Savannah GA! We stayed on the River at the Cotton Sail Hotel (Hilton). Our hotel overlooked the river and historic River Street.  The traffic on the river was amazing from old time paddle boats to huge commercial container ships!Our first outing, dinner at The Old Pink House….so delicious. We ate in the downstairs tavern. This restaurant was built in 1789 and in the 1800’s became a bank; there is a private dining room that once was a vault for gold bricks.  We highly recommend this restaurant.Next we took the Old Town Trolley…
