We have read many reviews that City of Rocks State Park is a must see while in New Mexico. To get to City of Rocks the drive is through typical desert land with a few rolling hills of desert. Soon after we arrived in Borrego Springs we heard about the “sculptures”. There are well over 100 life size or larger metal sculptures throughout the desert surrounding the town. We felt like we were on safari, hunting every one of them!
