Before leaving the Lake Powell area we explored Paria Canyon about 40 miles west. This area has some of the most beautiful colors of anywhere we have been. The day we were there, we were the only ones for the entire day! We flew the drone several times…so much fun! We then left Lake Powell and traveled with the Airstream to Escalante. Last week we showed you our exploration of Big Sur, Monterey and Pinnacles National Park; but we kept one or our adventures for a video of it’s own…Monterey Bay Aquarium.  Monterey Bay itself is protected water from Santa Cruz to Big Sur and the Aquarium has captured the essence of this very special place. There is an actual Kelp Forest, Sea Otters, Penguins and so many other wonderful exhibits. Our favorites were “The Jellies”! Today we are giving thanks for so many things!  We are thankful for being able to travel as we have planned for years, we are thankful for finding one another and we are thankful for our good health; just to name a few.  This morning we reinforced all of the above as we did 2 short hikes to appreciate the gift in nature.   Most of all, we are thankful for our friends and family!   PS.
