Happy Thanksgiving!

Today we are giving thanks for so many things!  We are thankful for being able to travel as we have planned for years, we are thankful for finding one another and we are thankful for our good health; just to name a few.  This morning we reinforced all of the above as we did 2 short hikes to appreciate the gift in nature.   Most of all, we are thankful for our friends and family!   PS. Petit Jean State Park, Arkansas

We arrived at Petit Jean State Park yesterday.  This is a gorgeous state park, huge sites and on a lake.  The park is located between the Ozark and Ouachita mountain ranges. The mountain received its name from the legend of Petit Jean a story of a French girl that disguised herself as a boy and secretly accompanied her sweetheart, a sailor, to America. The hike we wanted to do, is closed due to a storm that knocked down 400+ trees!  The closure doesn’t really matter as we are socked in with rain all day.  This is to be expected we…

So much to do!

Today has been exhausting.  We have packed and repacked, moved all non-essentials to our storage area in the building; every inch of space has been used.  We then loaded the truck and went to Cat Scales to get weighed....we are over the desired weight, now we have to unpack the truck and remove some "stuff".  Tomorrow, cleaning condo and we hope to leave by 2pm. Tomorrow is a short driving day...only 4 hours.
