The Netherlands, two hidden Gems, Haarlem & Delft!
We have left Scandinavia and headed to the Netherlands! After a 12 hours and 4 train changes we found that there was a 24 hour train strike in all of the Netherlands….we ended up in Düsseldorf, Germany overnight in a hotel without AC! But bright and early the next day all trains were running to Amsterdam and the entire country! Our first stop was Haarlem just a short 15 min. train ride from Amsterdam.
