Santa Fe, Albuquerque and Re-Routing

Tuesday we fled Colorado due to weather, fires and smoke from fires.  We went south to Santa Fe, NM and we encountered unbelievable wind! We were so glad to get settled at Santa Fe Skies RV Park (sustained wind 40 mph and gusts to 60 mph).

Yesterday we explored Santa Fe, had a delicious lunch at The Shed.  Today we went to Albuquerque to visit our dear friends from Richmond.  We had a very special lunch at Los Poblanos (aka Lavender Farm, LosPoblanos.com , a really great day, thanks again T & S.

Since we cancelled all plans in Colorado, we will be heading to Utah tomorrow.  Destinations include Canyonlands National Park, Arches National Park, Moab and much more.  We will be testing the new lithium batteries as we will be staying at several off the grid sites.  I plan to fly the drone as trees are scarce in the desert!
