4 Stops in Southeastern Utah!

When we left Moab we started our trek to Durango Colorado! We made several stops along the way:

1. Valley of the Gods – a 17 mile loop near Mexican Hat, Utah.  A beautiful ride through vibrant red rock!

2. Gooseneck State Park – towers 100’ above the San Juan River.  The river meanders through 6 miles of curves but only travels about 1.5 miles closer to Lake Powell!

3. Hovenweep National Monument – This rocky rugged area was once home to many people (about 1200) about 800 years ago!  This was a real find but it was HOT!

4. Four Corners Monument – Is the only spot in the United States where 4 states borders intersect!  The monument is on Navajo land….

Next week the Durango Area!

Travel Update:

By now you must know that our videos run 2-3 weeks behind!  We are now in Montana, soon to be in Glacier National Park where we will be for the next 2 weeks.  As planned we will be in the Canadian Rockies for the month of August with our friends Debbie and Joni!  Stay tuned for ADVENTURE!

PS…As always, comments are appreciated!

Also, note, the map on the home page is up-to-date!

Can’t believe you’ve been on the road for almost 2 years.
