Camping on the edge of a 1,000-foot canyon? Count us in!
Join us as we spend three unforgettable nights at Goosenecks State Park in southeastern Utah, one of the Southwest’s most underrated camping destinations. From our incredible rim-side campsite, we explore the breathtaking Goosenecks of the San Juan River, drive the thrilling Moki Dugway, take in the panoramic views from Muley Point, travel through Bears Ears National Monument, visit the fascinating Edge of the Cedars State Park Museum in Blanding, and stop at the iconic Mexican Hat rock formation.
As a bonus, we were lucky enough to experience a spectacular Blood Moon eclipse beneath the dark skies of this International Dark Sky Park.
If you’re planning a Utah road trip, traveling in an RV, towing an Airstream, or simply searching for amazing places to camp in Utah, this area deserves a place on your bucket list.
