Several weeks ago, we booked a 4×4 Sunset tour of Hell’s Revenge with Epic 4×4 Adventures.
While in Moab the temperatures were extremely high, 109-111! We were tempted to leave and head North except that we had these reservations with Epic. Our tour was from 6pm-9:30pm on a 4×4 trail called, Hell’s Revenge. Hell’s Revenge is in the Sand Flats Recreation Area and is listed as a difficulty 6 of 1-10. Our training was on a 4×4 trail “Fins & Things”
We had a guide, Jason and there were 3 buggies in our group. Carol and I were in Buggie 1….Jason told us over and over that we had a huge responsibility because we had to follow his EXACT tracks so the other 2 buggies could follow mine….no pressure! According to Jason we passed training with flying colors, so we could do more advanced sections.
We turned back onto the road and then we were at the beginning of Hell’s Revenge.
I will not describe Hell’s Revenge….you will see for yourself! This video is a little longer than most….we had over 3 hours of videos to boil down to under 13 minutes! Hope you enjoy! Once again, comments make our day!
Travel Update:
We are now in Heber City, UT, back in the mountains with trees and grass. We will be exploring this area that is about 45 minutes South of Salt Lake City. We will be here until 7/29 when we head to Colorado to meet up with East Coast Travel Friends, high school friends and others!
Another great video & views. Crazy ladies! Definitely not a ride for me 😬
🤣
Thanks… We had a blast! Love new adventures.
Wow! What a ride! Thanks for driving us along.
So much fun!
WOW!!!!!! That looks like so much fun!
OMG,it was so fun!
What an awesome adventure!! Glad you didn’t get go down in the hot tub. That sunset was incredible and probably worth every “oh sh*t”! That driving in the dark really looked challenging but you guys were pros by then. Thanks for taking us along!!
It was so fun! With these videos we can relive the fun anytime we want!!!
I was saying “holy shit” as you were driving along the fin. I realized I was tense watching some of the video. But looked like a fantastic experience and glad there were no mishaps!
It was so fun, but I must say it was scary!
Expert driving! We did this just outside the Rockies last October and wished we hadn’t. No training, no guide, and no scenery because we were basically in a creek bed climbing over large boulders and fearful that we’d rip out the bottom of the buggy or flip it, especially after running into a couple of guys that did just that and needed to hitch a ride back! Now, this is a tour done the right way – scary at times, some fast driving in parts (my favorite) and such great wide-open views (having my brother join your site so he can see what we were hoping to get with our tour!) Hats off to you ladies for braving the heat – that’s one thing I have zero tolerance for after 25 years in the desert. Love how you did the footage – it would be a great marketing tool for the company you booked with! Enjoy beautiful CO with your friends, Cheers!
OMG, that sounded like a horrible experience! Epic 4×4 Adventures was great! Our guide walked us through everything! It was so fun…may I share your experience with them Epic so they know they are doing it correctly? Anyway, our experience was great!
Absolutely, share with Epic. Having a guide just seems like a win-win to me . . . more enjoyable for their customers, and a much better chance that their equipment isn’t damaged! On to your next adventure, safe travels!
you two are havin so much fun Im jealous, but keep the adventures going…
