A day at the Living Desert Zoo!

One of our favorite days so far in the Palm Springs area was at the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in Palm Desert.  This zoo and gardens specializes in the deserts of the world!  The zoo features the African Savanna to the Wild Americas to Australian Adventures and there are over 500 animals!  This venue has been named number six on Condé Nast Traveler’s list of 10 Best Zoos in the US.

This was the best zoo we have been to!  We were so lucky, the temperatures were about 70 degrees with bright sunshine! The animals were so entertaining.

Let us know your favorite animal!

Enjoy the video…

Travel update:

We continue to investigate the greater Palm Springs area with day trips to Borrego Springs and Joshua Tree.  There were a couple of unusually cool, rainy days this week, so we had to postpone a few outings.  Stand by for more!

Great video! Giraffes were my fav as a kid, kinda still are. Nice to see that you guys enjoyed the holiday season and are off to a bright new year. Be safe and watch out for those tropical storms in today’s wacky weather – Cheers!
